Good Charlotte - Hold On (Media Project)
A good use of location which relate to the lyrics, good use of props e.g. the guitar, drum, mic etc which comfort the genre of the music. By looking at the props wich connote is a pop, soft rock genre.
This music video have comfort the conventions of the genre by making the lyrics match with the images to empathise the charaters is feeling lonely, the special effect uses in this video where black and white frame, this create a lonely, depress. sad feeling to spectator and wich link to the lyrics.
In this music video has a basic of creativity, original idea to the narrative and performance, the location base on a school site, park and field inside the school. a good use of shot type, but it will be better by using more different angle more close up stead od a long shot showing the band, by using different angle create more tension on spectator.
It uses cross dissolve to create time is passing by and showing some of the charaters is despair to empathise the charaters feeling.
Over all i will give this music video a level 3.

This music video is made by Korea music industry. In this video it uses different typs of locations which create different mood to spectator, the use of props show the genre of this music is a pop, girly dance music, many different coustume to attract audience attention.
The beat of the music link to the movment when the singer dance, which create more tension, and a dance mood this make audience want to sing along and dance too. In this video as we listen to the lyrics the dance move float with the music, which connote the narrative and genre of the music.
From this video it mainly uses low angle, long shot, mid shot showing the singer the reason why they have least intresting shot becasue this music video is produce to make money and promort their star but the shot type match with the genre of the music. Coloyrful coustume is use to catch audience attention, and it symbolise the youth from the group.
